Bridging the Gap – 2010
'Against Wind and Tide'
Bridging the Gap seeks to bring well-known Bible teachers into this part of the Thames Valley with the aim of bridging the gap between the Word of God and the World of Today. Bridging the Gap aims to offer biblical, practical, and high quality teaching, which will be accessible to all who want to grow in their Christian faith.
The subject is "Against Wind and Tide", based on:
Jeremiah 1: 'Responding to God's call'
Jeremiah 32: 'Trusting God's Word'
The speaker will be Jonathan Lamb.
Jonathan has previously been involved in both student and church based ministry,
but currently serves as the international director of Langham Preaching,
part of the Langham Partnership, where he travels globally assisting in the training
and development of a new generation of preachers.
The event will be held in Goring Free Church at 8pm on Wednesday 8th and
Thursday 9th September.
Join with other local Christians for worship and fellowship as together we seek to develop in our spiritual lives through the exposition and application of God’s Word.
